Leki rightly describes these alpine ski gloves as a cold weather warrior. The combination of a waterproof and windproof membrane and high-bulk Primaloft lining make my hands feel cocooned in a soft, warm shell. Despite the extreme warmth, these gloves are incredibly pliable and maintain excellent finger and hand dexterity. They seem to breathe well without sweat buildup too. While the Xplore XT S gloves would be a great ski glove choice for anyone who suffers from repeated freezing hands, the Trigger Loop system, compatible with some Leki ski poles, allows you to clip glove to ski pole grip quickly for an innovative and efficient ski glove/pole interface that includes a quick-action safety release to help prevent injury (see Peak Vario S pole review). MSRP: $129.95. Leki.com //
