Owning a boat can sound like a dream—sunny days on the water, tubing with the kids, sunset cruises with friends. But for many people, the reality of boat ownership also includes maintenance, storage fees, cleaning, repairs and more hassle. That’s where the Carefree Boat Club of North Idaho comes in.

What is a boat club? The short answer: Members pay a monthly fee, and boat as often as they like. Instead of purchasing a boat yourself, you join the club through a membership. Members can reserve boats online and simply show up ready to enjoy the water. Dedicated Boat Club staff take care of the hard part: hauling and launching, maintenance, cleaning and winter storage. One of the biggest reasons people love the Carefree Boat Club of North Idaho is flexibility. The club offers a variety of boats for different activities and group sizes. Members also get to explore multiple local lakes, including Lake Pend Oreille, Hayden Lake and Lake Coeur d’Alene.

New to boating? No problem—the club provides training and on-the-water instruction so you can feel comfortable and confident before heading out. At the end of the day, the Carefree Boat Club of North Idaho is about making boating easy. Instead of spending your free time worrying about upkeep and logistics, you spend it making memories on the water. It’s the simplest way to enjoy everything boating has to offer—without the stress that often comes with ownership.
