Founded in 1971, the Spokane Canoe and Kayak Club welcomes all paddlers—canoes, kayaks, rafts and paddleboards—with an emphasis on safety, fun and community. This summer, the club’s signature Tuesday evening paddles launch at 6 p.m. and rotate to a new spot each week, open to everyone.
Intermediate and advanced paddlers can also join occasional midday outings with a lunch stop along the way. The highlight of the season is the two-day touring and sea kayak clinic July 11-12, just $125 with a $20 annual membership. Beginner through advanced classes round out the calendar.
