This Thursday, February 11th, Silver Mountain is offering everyone who makes a donation of at least $5 to the American Red Cross the opportunity to ski and snowboard or “surf and splash” for $15, a 70% discount. A portion of the proceeds from food and beverage sales will be donated as well, and there will be a live auction at 2pm at the Mountain Haus.
“The moment [the earthquake] happened, our employees got together to come up with a way to contribute something to the enormous relief effort taking place in Haiti,” says Jeff Colburn, Silver Mountain General Manager. They’re aiming to raise $10,000 in donations.
