Friends, I’ve found my new summer adventure drink. Roast House coffee’s organic cold brew in a can—known as the “f-bomb”—is effortless, delicious and highly packable for the outdoors. I first snagged one from the Bloomsday expo, appreciating how the 12-oz. can was so slim I could slide it into the front pocket of my baggy shorts while I walked around.
The most surprising thing for me was the absolute lack of bitterness I associate with straight cold brew (no creamer). F-bomb is smooth and chocolatey, perfect without anything added. There’s no mixing required like with a freeze-dried granulated instant coffee. This coffee is ready to drink as soon as you pop the tab.

F-bomb beans are sourced from an organic co-op in Cajamarca, Peru, and roasted in Spokane. Notes of fudge, caramel and cocoa and a stylish design make this drink a delight. The cold brew can stands out with a graphic of an ocelot lounging on a tree branch, an f-bomb between its paws. Roast House says it’s a purposeful nod to its mission to protect endangered wildlife by buying coffee from shade-grown and organic coffee producers.
Clocking in with 255 mg of caffeine (an 8-oz. drip has about 95mg), the f-bomb is a powerful ride-along for any outdoor adventure. Grab yours at a few key locations like Huckleberry’s, My Fresh Basket, Main Market, First Avenue Coffee and RH’s tasting room.
