Have you heard about BC’s Big White and always wanted to check it out? Join Out There Outdoors for an early-season trip to Big White Ski Resort near Kelowna, British Columbia, December 14-16 with slopeside lodging and lift tickets for two starting at the amazing low price of $135 USD!
Only 4.5 hours north of Spokane near the beautiful lake-side city of Kelowna (think a bigger version of Coeur d’Alene surrounded by gorgeous wine country), Big White is Canada’s largest ski-in-ski-out village. It’s also the best place in the Northwest to experience early-season skiing and snowboarding and enjoy a happening resort village scene with over a dozen excellent restaurants and fun and friendly pubs and bars. Check out our story from our first trip to Big White here for a sense of what you’re in for.
While this is an Out There sponsored trip, you are responsible for getting yourself up to Big White and once you’re there you can choose to join other Out There readers for an Après Welcome Party to make some new friends or head out on your own to explore the mountain all weekend long with your own crew. Either way, be sure to take advantage of other trip perks and first-class Big White accommodations.
All abilities are welcome and there are plenty of other activities if someone in your group isn’t too keen on skiing or snowboarding (snowshoeing, ice skating, tubing, Nordic, eating/drinking, music, and more). Kids are totally welcome on this trip (Big White is super family friendly and has daycare and lessons available), and if three days isn’t enough, you can extend your stay at the same special Out There trip rate for a few more days between December 12-18. And you can also upgrade from the $135 per-night hotel room to other larger condo and vacation home options.
Check out all the details for what’s going to be an amazing start to the 2018/19 ski and snowboard season and give us a call at the Out There office (509-822-0123) if you have any questions. Make sure your passport or enhanced drivers’ license is current, your boards are tuned, and we will see you up on the mountain in December!
