The ski season may be coming to an end, but there’s still time to sign up for Silver Mountain Resort’s 13th annual Leadman held on Saturday, April 22. The Leadman is a unique triathlon combining skiing/snowboarding, biking, and running. Competitors will begin the race with a 50 yard dash to their gear before skiing or boarding down a 1.3 mile ski course to Midway Chair 4. At the chair participants will need to grab their bike in preparation for the 12 mile mountain bike ride into town followed by a 4.5 mile run to the Gondola Village. There will be live music and a BBQ in the village post race. The Leadman is sponsored by the Kellogg Rotary Club who will donate any proceeds from the event to charity. Registration ends April 18. To register or for more information check out www.silvermt.com.
Sunday, April 23, will be the last day to ski/board this season. Head to Silver Mountain for $39 lift tickets and enjoy $2 beers at the Blow the Beers Keg Party. //
