Follow film makers into the air with the “Free Flight Film Festival,” which lands in Spokane on Monday, February 15, 2016. Tickets for the 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. showings at the Magic Lantern Theatre in Spokane are $5. “Free Flight” is the term hang glider and paraglider pilots collectively call their sport. The festival includes a wonderful assortment of films showing hang gliding, paragliding and mini-wing flying from the ground and in the air. Festival promoters promise amazing visuals and compelling stories that will appeal to all audiences. After each show (shows at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.), Spokane area hang glider and paraglider pilots will be available for Q&A sessions.
