If you are looking to race, the Baddlands Cycling Club Twilight Series begins April 18 at Spokane County Raceway.
For those looking for a more social challenge, consider the 26th Rotary Club of Spokane’s Lilac Century Bike Ride on April 28. Along with a kid and beginner-friendly Fish Lake trail route of 15 miles, four other routes range from 25 to 100 miles, all leaving from the campus of Spokane Falls Community College, with support and food stops of course.
The CHAFE 150 Gran Fondo, a fundraiser to support literacy education in Sandpoint, is on June 15. Along with a free kids’ ride, the five routes range from 30 miles with minimal climbing to 40, 80, 100, and 150 (yes, 150!) mile options. Food stops and support included. This will be the first year that E-bikes are allowed on the 30- and 40-mile routes. Mark your calendars to enjoy this beautiful route.
