Two Wheel Transit’s first 10 Hour Mountain Bike Race will be held Saturday, April 29, at Camp Sekani Park. Although similar to a 24 hour race, Two Wheel Transit manager, Simon Hartt, says he’s “always wanted a single day event.” The course is 9 miles and options for registration include solo rider or relay teams of up to three (men’s and women’s) or up to five (coed only). In person registration is Friday, April 28, from 4-7 p.m. The race will begin with a LeMon’s style start bright and early Saturday morning. There will be a raffle and cash prizes for the top three solo riders. Camping is available at Camp Sekani beginning Friday at noon. The cost to camp is $10 per night, and any proceeds from camping will be donated to Evergreen East Mountain Bike Alliance. For more information visit www.velo-northwest.com/2wheel-10hour. //
