“The Sisterhood of Shred,” a documentary about a community of empowered female mountain bikers, is coming to Gonzaga’s Jundt Art Museum this Thursday, March 30. The film highlights the lives of a diverse group of women brought together by a common interest, and explores their dedication to what is traditionally a male-dominated sport. The event is sponsored by the local ladies mountain biking group, Biking Betties, and proceeds from the event will go towards the Spokane and Spokane Valley Washington Student Cycling League, a non-profit mountain biking program benefiting students in grades 6-12. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $5 at the door. The Jundt Art Museum is located at 200 E. Desmet Ave. in Spokane. For more information check out the Biking Betties Facebook page.
