Thanks to our local Bower Climbing Coalition (BCC), the iconic climbing film “Reel Rock 13” will be showing in Spokane on Sunday, November 4th (7:00 p.m. at the Washington Cracker Building; tickets here).
“Reel Rock 13″—sponsored by Yeti, Black Diamond, The North Face, and others—is currently on tour around the world. It includes some of the year’s best climbing films, from “Age of Ondra,” which features Adam Ondra’s stunning limit-testing of the sport, to “Up to Speed,” a film that will cover one of the three events required to medal in the climbing category of the 2020 Olympics: speed climbing.
“Reel Rock 13” will be a roll of these climbing films, meant to inspire. This Spokane film showing is locally sponsored by REI, Mountain Gear, Bloc Yard, and Wild Walls, and will be a fun event to attend. Get stoked to plan your next adventure while also doing good for your local climbing community; proceeds from this Spokane event will go to the BCC who have pledged to maintain, preserve, and expand Inland Northwest climbing.
Tickets are $18 online ($25 at the door), and kids 12 and under get in for free. The event will host Crate food truck and Big Sky Brewing to provide food and beer options. There will be a silent auction and raffle in addition to the film. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Contribute to your local climbing community by attending this event, and get the added benefit of watching some stellar climbing footage. BCC is a nonprofit working to make our Spokane-area climbs safer each year.
This event sold out last year, so get your tickets now! We promise it will rock, really.
