New “Climb for the Cure” Bike Race to the Top of Mount Spokane

Road and gravel riders and hill-loving mountain bikers will want to mark their calendars for June 15, 2024, for Climb for the Cure, a new, timed MTB/gravel race to the top of Mount Spokane. The total climb will include 5,400 feet in elevation gain over the 30-mile, mostly uphill race. This is a race with purpose too. Organizers aim to raise awareness and money for the life-changing work being done at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the top cancer research institutes in America. Every ticket purchase goes directly to fund cancer research.

A post-race celebration will be held at Selkirk Lodge where there will be food, beverages, bike vendors, raffles and the awards ceremony. Family and friends are welcome to join in the festivities.

Riders in good to great physical health can register to ride the course at their own pace or race for a chance at $10,000 worth of cash and prize awards. There will be a cap on the number of riders, so don’t put off registering for this one. More info at Climbforthecure.org.
