Geocaching 101 — Free Clinics February 18-19

What is geocaching? Check out this short video here to learn more, and then sign up for one of three “Geocaching 101” clinics at the Spokane Great Outdoors & Bike Expo February 18-19. The clinics, which are free with your entry to the show ($8 online or $10 at the door), will teach you all about the real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game of geocaching using GPS-enabled devices such as a smartphone or GPS unit. Find out how to play and what gear you’ll need to get started. Cache Advance founder Lisa Breitenfeldt, who will be leading the clinics, has been geocaching since 2002 and is excited to share her love of this fun, family-friendly activity.

Geocaching Clinic Schedule

The three “Geocaching 101” clinics are scheduled for Saturday, February 18 from 10:30-11:15 a.m. and again from 3:30-4:15 p.m. and then on Sunday, February 19 from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Sign up in advance for all clinics at the Cache Advance booth at the Spokane Great Outdoors & Bike Expo.
