Progression Trail: Designed to help riders level up skills without immediately wrecking themselves. 

Gravity Trail: Built for going downhill fast with gravity doing the heavy lifting. 

Tabletop: Jump with a flat top between takeoff and landing.  

Flow Trail: Smooth, berm-filled rollercoaster dirt designed for rhythm, speed and big grins. 

Skinnies: Narrow, elevated wooden features. 

Stunts: Wood features, ladders and teeter-totters. 

Loamer: Soft, loamy dirt trail. 

Chunder: A mess of rocks, roots and bumps that rattle riders. 

DH: Short for downhill.  

Grom: Short for grommet, a grom is a young rider who’s somehow already better than most adults. 

Freeride: Style of riding focused on creativity, jumps, drops and style. 

Tech: Short for technical terrain. 

New School: Modern trail design. 

Booter: A jump with enough pop to send riders impressively airborne. 

Gap Jump: A jump with empty space between takeoff and landing.
