Women’s mountain biking in the Inland Northwest continues to grow, and this summer offers a rare chance for riders to sharpen their skills close to home. Spokane’s Biking Betties are helping bring a nationally recognized skills camp to town this summer, creating a new opportunity for local women riders to build confidence on two wheels. The Biking Betties, a women’s mountain bike group based in Spokane, are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and uplifting community for women bikers in the region. Their mission is to help women find new riding partners and friends, explore new trail systems and progress in their skills. The group hosts weekly rides for a range of levels and styles, along with events such as bike maintenance nights and trail-building days. They also share information about clinics, races, dig days and other mountain bike–related happenings across the Inland Northwest.

This year, the Betties are promoting Ladies AllRide’s signature two-day women’s mountain bike camp at Beacon Hill on June 6–7, 2026. Founded in 2010, Ladies AllRide offers small-group coaching designed to help riders build technical skills and confidence in a supportive setting. Bringing the camp to Spokane means women can access world-class instruction on their home trails without the long drive many of these camps typically require. Designed for riders ages 18 and up, this cross-country-style camp welcomes beginners through advanced. Coaches lead small groups through technical and flowy climbing and descending, working on features like rock rolls, drops, jumps, switchbacks, flat corners and berms to help participants build confidence and capability on the trail. E-bikes are permitted where local regulations allow.

The camp includes a pre-camp meet-and-greet with a skills presentation, nutritious lunches, post-day-one happy hour with education stations and guided morning stretching on day two. Curated afternoon rides based on skill level round out each day. Demo bikes and gear demos from sponsors are often available with advance reservation. Follow the Biking Betties on Instagram or Facebook for ride and other event details. Registration and camp details are available at Ladiesallride.com/spokane-wa
