Awesome River Action

This is what brings out the outdoor nerd in me: a webcam on the rapids of the Spokane River. Here are the details from a good friend of Spokane paddling, Dave Tige Turner:

After an extended hiatus the Spokane River’s Flora Rapids web cam is back online! Thanks to the community donations we were able to get the web cam fixed. The web site has become “Community Supported”. Depending on the river flow you can often watch kayakers playing in either Sullivan Hole, Duplex Wave or at the current level – Sullivan Wave.

To view the web cam go to:

To go to the forum discussion page (feel free to participate in here so it’s not just me talking to me …. revealing my deepest thoughts and observations):

We are in the process of seeking a sponsor adding a video/photo section to the web site so stay tuned!

Thanks to; everyone that pledged a donation to fix the web cam, Dave M @ Case42 (the instant messenger) and Dave at Interlink. Special thanks to Billy And Teri that had the vision to start and pay for the the web site and host the equipment needed to make it work.
