Antoine Peak Conservation Area will host an adults-only foraging and survival skills hike Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m.-noon. Charlie Bouck of Herbal Expeditions will lead the hike, which covers foraging techniques and wilderness survival skills in the conservation area’s woodland terrain.
Registration is required, and the meetup location will be emailed to registered participants. Antoine Peak’s trail system includes steeper grades and varied surfaces in some sections. Several trails follow converted roadbeds that allow wheelchair access on portions of the network, though none of the trails meet ADA standards.
