The GRIND Gravel Race Back for Year Two at Riverside State Park

The GRIND Gravel Circuit Bike Race returns for its second year on Saturday, Sept. 26, starting and finishing at Seven Mile Airstrip in Riverside State Park. The 11-mile loop course is fast and nontechnical—minimal singletrack and wide-open trails and friendly to mountain, gravel, cyclocross and hybrid bikes. Riders choose their distance: 22 miles (two laps), 44 miles (four laps) or 66 miles (six laps). Registration covers chip timing, custom pint glasses and bike support at the start, plus chili and cornbread at the finish. Camping is available for an added fee and T-shirts can be purchased during registration.

Every dollar raised goes directly to Riverside State Park through the Riverside State Park Foundation, a nonprofit that puts donations and volunteer hours toward real improvements—trail signs, bike racks, picnic tables, dog leashes, tools, landscaping trees and more. The goal is keeping the park accessible and well maintained for everyone who uses it. Register at Runsignup.com/Race/WA/NineMileFalls/TheGrind
