Run along the beautiful Spokane River on the paved Centennial Trail on this flat, point-to-point course with a finish in Downtown Spokane at Riverfront Park! All the scenic wonder of a course out in nature with the fun of a big city race. New in 2022, you can also register as a fundraiser and help raise money for some great charities. Starting times vary for the different distances, and there’s an optional shuttle bus available from Riverfront Park to the various starting locations on race day morning with tickets purchased in advance. Lauded as one of the most scenic marathon courses in the U.S., the course for this 45th-year event traverses Lake Coeur d’Alene shoreline, offering plenty of natural distractions to energize racers along the way. Aid stations are also included every 2-3 miles or so along the course, and there’s an automatic camera set up to capture photos of racers at the finish line. This unique marathon course goes completely around Hayden Lake (10 miles north of Coeur d’Alene) on hilly, challenging forest-lined roads. Enjoy stunning mountain lake views and run past golf courses, farms, and forest. All three distances start and finish at Hayden Lake’s Honeysuckle Beach, a beautiful neighborhood park overlooking Hayden Lake and surrounding mountains.
