49° North Mountain Resort announced today that it will be open on Saturday, November 20th, and Sunday, November 21st, 2010.
Chairs 1 & 3 will be running from 9:00am to 3:30pm. Silver Ridge, King and Queen will be accessible on Chair 1, and Treasure Hill will be open on Chair 3.
Ticket prices will be $30 for adults, and $20 for youth.
After the week-end, the resort will resume operations on Thursday, November 25th thru Sunday, November 28th.
According to Brad Northrup, the resort’s Director of Sales & Marketing, conditions are near-perfect for an early opening. “We have received nearly 4 feet of snow on the upper mountain in the last three weeks. More importantly, the snow that has fallen has had a good amount of moisture in it, which is ideal for creating a solid base. We are definitely off to a great start.” said Northrup.
This early opening will mark the second year in a row that the resort has opened before the Thanksgiving holiday.
