The Uprise Brewing Vista House Pilsner tastes like a sunny afternoon in a glass. It’s bright, unpretentious and refreshing, with enough delicate notes to keep it interesting. If your ideal pilsner is clean and crisp rather than intense or hop-banging, this local Spokane brew hits the bullseye every time. Uprise Brewing is among the best breweries in the area, and their modern styles of finely crafted beer can be tasted in every pint.

A generic German-styled pilsner served cold will always create a perfect session beer; however, the Vista House Pilsner earns ski-resort favor for the taste, the price and the popularity at the Mt. Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park. It’s a seasonal winner year after year, with a 4.8% ABV and a superb aroma.
This beer is named after the historic Vista House on the summit of Mount Spokane. The iconic structure was designed by architect H. C. Bertelsen and built in 1933 using native granite and timber, blending into the rugged mountain environment. But you don’t have to head to the Vista House to enjoy the Vista House Pilsner. It’s on tap at the lodge during the ski season, and it’s in rotation at the brewery throughout the year. If you visit the brewery, you definitely need to try their smash burger. They also have a limited release of the pilsner in a can so you can enjoy it at the campground or after a long mountain bike ride.
