There’s something special about exploring a place on foot. You notice more—the stories, the smells, the architecture, the energy. Wander Spokane offers guided walking tours year-round that dive into the history, food, art, and even the haunted past of this city we love. Every tour is led by a local who knows the ins and outs of Spokane and wants to share what makes it great.
This fall, they’re launching a new event called Taste & Trek Spokane, happening September 26–28. It’ll run the same weekend as the Food & Wine Festival at the Historic Davenport, but with a twist—pairing city walks and outdoor treks with food, drink, and stories along the way. It’s a great way to see a different side of Spokane, whether you’re a visitor or a local.

Each day will include a downtown walking tour and a nature-based trek, with stops at local spots for bites and sips. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure kind of weekend, all centered around moving through the city and connecting with what’s here.
Taste & Trek is just the start. They plan to grow it into a seasonal series—future events could include paddling, biking, climbing, or snowshoeing, all tied together with the food and people that make Spokane what it is.
If you’re looking for something fun and different to do this September—or anytime—check out their tours. You’ll walk away seeing Spokane in a new light.
