The 6th Annual Susan G. Komen Eastern Washington Race for the Cure® takes place on Sunday, April 17, 2011 in Downtown Spokane!
The Race benefits 14 eastern Washington counties:

3. Benton
4. Columbia
5. Ferry
6. Franklin
7. Garfield
8. Lincoln
9. Okanogan
10. Pend Oreille
11. Stevens
12. Spokane
13. Walla Walla
14. Whitman
Seventy-five percent of proceeds from the Race stay in these 14 counties to provide money for grants at local medical establishments. Last year, nearly 9000 runners, walkers, strollers and Survivors joined the Race for the Cure and raised funds to support nearly $400,000 for Eastern Washington grantees. We expect over 11,000 participants downtown Spokane this year and hope you will announce the Race in your periodical and encourage people in your community to make an IMPACT and run, walk, stroll, sleep-in and fundraise for the Cure.
