Spread The Shred This Weekend

Films: Think Thank’s, “Ransack Rebellion” and Capita’s, “Defenders of Awesome”

Saturday, November 5th, 7pm at the Garland Theatre – $5

Spread the Shred is a local snowboard collective that is hosting its 3rd annual Snowboard Film Premier event to benefit SOSOutreach. SOS Outreach is a locally operating non-profit organization that gives local underprivileged kids the chance to learn to snowboard by providing them with gear, transportation and snowboard lessons. Last year we raised $600 for their Spokane program and hope to raise even more this year with your support!

Our goal has been to help build the snowboard scene in Spokane and partnering with SOS Outreach was a no brainer. We are sponsored locally by all of the core shops and ski resorts in Spokane. Their support through donations has helped us build the biggest snowboard film premier event in the Inland Northwest. Last year we had over 300 people show up to the Garland Theatre to see some top notch films and win prizes ranging from boots and goggles to jackets and snowboards with a grand prize of an overnight cat skiing trip!

At the event Think Thank’s “Ransack Rebellion” and Capita’s “Defenders of Awesome” will have their Spokane debut. Think Thank has been putting out highly creative films which show the individual’s unique love and perspective on shred, while Capita’s motto…”We devour everything” is plain to see in their riding. Both films will have you booty glued!

Spread the Shred is brought to Spokane by Zachary and Martin, a couple of locals obsessed crazy about snowboarding. This event has been our outlet and our way of giving back to the amazing community we have in Spokane.

We sincerely appreciate any exposure you can give our event. Together we can really grow the scene in Spokane and give back to the community. Please feel free to contact Martin Beran or Zachary Lingo for interviews and questions.
