THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY INVITES YOU

TO ATTEND A WORKSHOP FOR THE BIKE AND PEDESTRIAN MASTER PROGRAM

September 29, 2010 – 5:30 pm -7:00 pm
CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY COUNCIL CHAMBERS 11707 E Sprague Avenue

The City of Spokane Valley (City) Community Development Department-Planning Division is holding a community workshop on the Bike and Pedestrian Master Program (BPMP).
The workshop is scheduled for September 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Spokane Valley City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Avenue. This is the second in a series of workshops the City will hold throughout the process. At this community meeting, staff will be looking for confirmation on a preliminary map identifying potential bike and pedestrian facilities based on the community’s input at the first workshop.

In addition, staff would like the community to help prioritize the potential bike and pedestrian facilities to ensure improvements are in line with the community’s vision.
The City of Spokane Valley would like to create opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to safely use city streets or pathways. This requires broad-based participation and long-term regional consensus. We hope you will consider participating to ensure the BPMP reflects the needs and desires of the community.
