REI donates $10,000 to the Friends of the Centennial Trail
To be used to fund a volunteer coordinator

REI generously donated $10,000 to the Friends of the Centennial Trail and a tandem $10,000 grant to the Riverside State Park Foundation. Due to REI’s focus on building volunteerism in communities and encouraging community involvement with stewardship of our public lands this new volunteer coordinator position benefiting the Centennial Trail and Riverside State Park fit into the mission of all the organizations.

The Friends have already been working with Jake Graham the new volunteer coordinator on several ideas to benefit the needs of the Centennial Trail. His new position will be from July to October this year, so if you would like to volunteer please contact Jake at Park Headquarters at 465-5064 or email at riverside@parks.wa.gov.

This new position, thanks to REI, will have a very positive impact on getting things done on the Centennial Trail!
