New Fat Tire Ale

For more than 30 years, the Fat Tire Ale has introduced an entire generation to craft beer. This spring, Fat Tire is announcing a wholesale reimagining of their 32-year-old recipe and their iconic brand. This includes changing their most popular beer with the goal of making a crisper, brighter, and even better Fat Tire, and debuting a bold new look designed to highlight their deep ongoing investments in climate solutions.

“Longtime Fat Tire drinkers will clearly recognize the original Fat Tire flavor when tasting the new recipe,” says New Belgium brewmaster Christian Holbrook, who developed the new recipe. “So far, many are telling us they prefer the crisper, brighter version and feel excited for the change.” With a reimagined recipe, the new Fat Tire Ale is easy drinking, with a medium body, crisp finish, and deep gold color. The bright flavor profile offers subtle caramel and floral aromas and light bitterness with a 5.2% ABV, just like its predecessor. New Belgium Brewing has already done a lot for the environment, but the brewery has also been recognized as one of Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work, one of the Wall Street Journal’s Best Small Businesses, and tops the list of Bicycling Magazine’s Best Companies for Cyclists. Their list of award-winning beers testifies to the fact they are taking their brewing innovations to the next level. Look for the NEW Fat Tire Ale wherever you buy beer.
