The City of Lewiston Parks and Recreation department invites the community to celebrate two exciting riverfront events in April.
Paul Revere’s Ride: A Community Bike Ride will take place on April 18. This free, family-friendly bicycling event commemorates the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s historic ride and celebrates the ideals of civic participation, communication and community action. Inspired by Revere’s call that united communities, this modern interpretation—bicycles instead of horses—promotes fitness, shared responsibility and collective civic pride. The scenic ride will travel along the Snake River and Clearwater River levee trail system, beginning and ending at Hells Gate State Park, highlighting Lewiston’s unique geography and riverfront infrastructure.

On April 25, the community will gather for the annual Seaport River Run in Lewiston. This beloved race brings runners together along the beautiful river pathways for a memorable course experience. Following the run, participants will enjoy a scenic jet boat ride back to the starting line—a uniquely Lewiston tradition. The celebration continues with live music and post-race festivities, creating a fun, energetic atmosphere for runners, families and spectators alike.
Together, these two events showcase Lewiston’s commitment to health, history, recreation and community connection along its remarkable rivers. (City of Lewiston Parks and Recreation)
