Indoor Bike Races Coming Soon

Theo over at Cycle Sports in Liberty Lake is putting together a cool winter event: indoor bike races on new hi-tech video trainers. The Computrainers are available at his shop and if the races go well he plans to have finals at a local bar. How’s that for cure for the winter blues? Here’s the details:

If your looking for a little competition, try indoor racing right here in the shop. Season starts February 1st so sign up now! The first race will be a moderately challenging 15mi. road course lasting about 30 minutes. The format will be double elimination tournament style with cool prizes for the podium and swag just for signing up. Call (509) 893-BIKE for more information.

Winter is here, its cold outside and if you miss that Sunday afternoon ride, you can still get out, or come in, and join a group trainer ride Sundays at 4:00p.m. Nobody gets left behind and you don’t even have to wear your helmet! Just bring your bike. There are six trainers available for a small fee or feel free to bring your own. There is room for 12 bikes so call to reserve your space.

If you want to try something a little different, check out our new indoor riding studio where you can come in from the cold and take a ride on one of our Computrainers, the most realistic indoor cycling experience available. Choose from hundreds of popular road courses ranging from two to 200 miles of flat, rolling or hilly and for any ability. Bring a friend and challenge each other to a ride side by side over the same terrain or familiarize yourself with a course you won’t get to see before race day. It’s always a balmy 70 degrees and there’s no traffic. Just bring your bike and be ready to ride. The studio is available by appointment during business hours so call to schedule a ride or come by for a free demo.
