If you have some time to spare this winter and want to give back to your local community, Habitat for Humanity Spokane is in urgent need of volunteers to help finish 30 homes. Volunteering for a home building project is also a great way to help others and learn new construction skills. Habitat’s mission is to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live. You can help families on their journey to affordable homeownership by signing up to help out at a Habitat construction site. No experience is necessary. Sign up at Habitat-spokane.org/volunteer-opportunities/ or call (509) 534-2552, ext. 243.
