REI and the Inland Northwest Council Boy Scouts will be showing Expedition Alaska, a film following endurance racers as they bike, kayak, and climb their way 350 miles across the Alaskan wilderness, at the Bing Crosby Theater May 18 from 7-9 p.m. The award-winning documentary was created by University of Cincinnati film students, professors and industry professionals, and documents the challenges faced by both competitors and film makers as they traverse across Alaska’s scenic Kenai Peninsula. There will be a Q&A with racers and crew, featuring David Adlard, Brian J. Leitten and Jeni McNeal, following the film. Tickets are $12 for adults or $10 for students.
