Northwest River Supply (NRS), the world’s leading supplier of equipment and apparel for water recreation, safety and rescue, is excited to host Downriver Daze, happening May 15 and 16 at the Latah County Fairgrounds in Moscow. The two-day event starts with a family-friendly kickoff followed by an epic gear sale. The Friday festivities run from 5 to 8 p.m., with an outdoor evening of live music, community gathering and activities hosted in partnership with the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI). The nonprofit PCEI promotes ecological health and social welfare of the Palouse-Clearwater region through conservation, restoration and other community projects. The event will take place rain or shine, with outdoor seating only. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, along with $5 raffle tickets benefiting local organizations.

“We love a weekend that brings people together, families, friends and the broader community,” says Aubrey Johnson, customer experience manager at NRS. “It’s a chance to celebrate the outdoors and support organizations doing meaningful work locally.” The Downriver Daze Sale follows on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., inside the Latah County Fairgrounds Event Center. Attendees can expect kids’ activities, bargains on used gear and access to discounted gear not available online. Food trucks and a beer garden featuring Northwest beers will be on site throughout the day, along with more raffle prizes and giveaways.
