Welcome in the spring biking season in North Idaho’s scenic Silver Valley with Celebrate Trails Day on April 25. The event in Historic Wallace, Idaho, is part of the nationwide celebration led by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy to honor the incredible trail systems that connect our communities. Other event partners include the Friends of the Coeur d’Alene Trails, Route of the Hiawatha and Idaho State Parks.

The Northern Pacific Depot Railroad Museum will be the centerpiece of the event, which will include (weather permitting) an unguided Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes group bike ride suitable for all ages, games and family-friendly activities and information about the Wallace area’s spectacular biking trails. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Final details of the Celebrate Trails Day 2026 can be found at Friendsofcdatrails.org. (Friends of the Coeur d’Alene Trails)
