We’ve got a weird situation this year where the water isn’t as high as last year but it might be just as dangerous. We’ve already have death toll on local waterways this spring and we don’t anymore. The Spokesman has several articles about river trouble, including a rescue at Barker Bridge and a fatality on the St. Joe. If you are a novice boater please don’t go out on the water. Try to connect with the Spokane Canoe and Kayak Club or the Northwest Whitewater Association for training. If you are an experienced boater be very, very careful.
