According to Poncho’s website, this is the official camo of Texas Dove season among the mesquites and prickly pears, but the subtle western style will fit in equally well chilling among hackberry groves on a sandy beach while rafting Hells Canyon this summer.

The fabric, a blend of mostly nylon and some spandex, seems unusually soft and airy to the touch and plenty stretchy for an evening behind the oars or fishing from shore. The pearl snaps make cooling adjustments easy, and the back has built-in vents. There’s also a hidden zippered pocket, sunglasses holder and lens cloth. MSRP: $94.95. Ponchooutdoors.com
