What started as an Inland NW overlanding retreat by a Spokane entrepreneur has grown into something much bigger. Range to Ranch Adventure Summit, presented by Toyota, returns for its second annual gathering June 18–21 in McCall, Idaho—a weekend of community, learning and exploring the peaks of Payette National Forest. The event brings together overlanding, mountain biking, hiking, camping and gear and skills programming.

Attendees can choose their own adventure across four days at the basecamp at Brundage Mountain Resort. Whether ripping singletrack on Brundage’s lift-accessed mountain bike trails, exploring backcountry roads or hiking from the summit after a scenic chair ride, there’s no shortage of options. Hit the water on Payette Lake for a paddle and swim, or lay out flies on the Salmon River. Hike up to Goose Creek Falls and explore other suggested backcountry routes pre-loaded into the onX Off Road app under the Range to Ranch folder—a curated list of must-see trails around McCall. For gravel and off-road adventure seekers, miles of additional routes were put together by YouTube overlanding creator Will Fowler of Venture2Roam, a Payette National Forest-area native.
Evenings pull everyone back to basecamp for live music and dining at Smokey’s Bar & Grill at Brundage Mountain Resort. Saturday night brings fireside chats with Will Fowler, and presenting sponsor Toyota takes the Main Stage alongside Ironman 4×4’s team to walk through how to build the ultimate overlanding rig. The DOD Outdoors education series sets R2R apart, with conservation sessions from the Mountain West nonprofit, McCall Search and Rescue, wilderness shelter-building, first aid for kids and onX platform clinics with trail expert Cody Rufenacht. Mammoth Trailers will showcase its backcountry-ready teardrop lineup too. Kids 14 and under get in free, dogs are welcome and day passes are available Friday and Saturday on-site.
