Starting and finishing at the picturesque Plante’s Ferry Sports Complex, participants will embark on a breathtaking journey along the Spokane River. The route follows the Centennial Trail, renowned for its gently rolling hills and stunning views of the river. The race begins at 8 a.m., with runners heading west past the Plante’s Ferry obelisk to the Islands Trailhead. From there, they cross the Spokane River via the Denny Ashlock Bridge and complete their chosen loop, either 5K or 10K, on the Centennial Trail.


Negative Split is providing the timing/course setup for Valleyfest participants. Valleyfest River Run is a Bloomsday Second seed Qualifier, making it an excellent opportunity for serious runners to secure a coveted starting position in Spokane’s iconic Bloomsday race. But the Valleyfest River Run isn’t just for competitive athletes; it’s an event designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
