Opening days and 2018 events at local ski areas
We’ve had a few flurries, and the mountains are getting ready for full-swing ski and snowboard season! A few of your favorite local resorts are already open, or opening soon, and have plenty of festive events coming up this month.
Check out these local opening days and snow conditions. See you on the mountain!
LOOKOUT PASS
Lookout pass is open now and has already seen some great snow!
During opening weekend in November, the ski area had nine groomed runs and five runs left in natural powder. While there may still be a few early-season obstacles, the front of the mountain is open and skiing well. Check out mountain conditions here. Dress like Santa and ski free on Friday, December 21!
MOUNT SPOKANE
Our local mountain will be opening on Friday, December 7!
Chairs 2, 3, and 5 will be open for some early season shredding. Check out the trail report and current snow conditions before you go. Night skiing starts on December 14.
SCHWEITZER
Schweitzer is open now!
Check out the mountain conditions and forecast here.
The Schweitzer village will be offering 12 days of deals beginning December 13, and offer a moonlight snowshoe hike on December 22.
49* NORTH
49*, located in Chewelah, WA, is open now!
Check out the current snow report, and plan to attend the Brewfest on December 15. 49* North will be open 7 days a week starting December 15 as well.
SILVER MOUNTAIN
Silver Mountain has a few lifts open now!

Silver will be hosting a local schools’ day with discounted ticket prices on December 15.
