Danish Cycling Perspectives

This presentation highlights the unique and creative ways cities in Denmark have made cycling safer and more enjoyable for their citizens.

In support of Spokane’s Bike Everywhereweek, i-SUSTAIN, an organization that researches and shares best practices in sustainable development, is bringing Troels Andersen, bicycle program manager from the city of Odense, Denmark,to speak in Spokane. Odense, about the size of Spokane, is one of the most bicycling friendly cities in the world. Troels will discuss how Danish cities are making cycling safer and more enjoyable. This event is free and open to any student in the greater Spokane area. This event is made possible through the generous support of the City of Spokane and the Scan/Design Foundation.
